| I purchased this item in Aril 2009. The one monitor no longer comes on at all. The other monitor cuts out as soon as my baby starts crying, rendering it completely useless. The battery life is also terrible, it lasts no more than 15 minutes once it is taken off the cradle. I too have not been able to get in contact with the seller as they will not respond to my emails. Beware! A complete waste of money. |
The battery is useless!!!

Bought it a few months ago. From day one the battery seemed to be not very powerful, but after a while we realized that the monitor would go dead within minutes of it being disconnected from the cradle. In other words, this monitor is not portable at all (and we bought it because we thought it was)!!!
I have been trying to contact the seller, but they are not answering to my e-mails. Amazon are not interested because after 90 days from purchase.
BEWARE!!! |

We have been using this monitor for a few months and over the last few weeks the handsets have had issues. They have sometimes stopped charging without being touched which then causes a beeping noise- very annoying in the night. Once it stopped charging though still plugged in,and ran out of battery ;luckily I woke anyway with baby crying as her room is near ours.
Last night the monitor beside our bed started beeping at 3am and the light came on for no reason (fully charged, room temperature was fine, baby sleeping quietly). Maybe our product is faulty but v annoying that we will have to buy another after only a short time. |
This is everything we need

I ordered this product because I was fed up of the interference from our existing one and I also liked the fact that the two parent monitors were rechargable.
The sound is great, if you set the sensitivity to full then you can hear your child breathing and moving around. The talkback feature is really useful and the fact that you can turn the melodies and night light on and off remotely.
The only fault I found was that the date and time never stayed after resetting it, after a short while it went back to the default setting. This is really only needed though if you want to use the monitor alarm for feeding times for a young baby, as my children are older its not an issue. The batteries did not last too long when not in the charger but I replaced them with longer life ones and they last all night now.
I would definately recommend this monitor. |
