I own BT Digital Baby Monitor 150 which stopped working after I dropped it. I chose this monitor as a replacement and I am a bit disappointed. The volume is lower and the link between baby and parent unit dropped a few times (I had to bring parent unit closer to reconnect), which never happened with previous product.
On the plus side: the temperature sensor is more accurate and the selection of lullabies is greater - although I wish it had white noise instead of the "nature" (leaves rustling in wind) sound. |
Super monitor, good value for money

We've been really pleased with this monitor. It's really easy to use and has many useful functions that we use but never thought we would need. One of the best we've found are the music options, it plays melodies, nature sounds and lullabies which are great sleep indicators for our little one and help soothe him to sleep. You can even select how long you want them to play for and turn them on or off using the parent monitor.
Sound is very clear, temperature useful.
Only downside we found is that the parent unit can turn itself off if it runs out of battery with only a very slight warning bleep so you do need to keep a close eye on battery levels and charge it regularly. |
WORTH THE INVESTMENT

| received this monitor as a gift and i have to say that we are delighted with it. we did think about investing in a monitor with a screen so we could see baby but it really isnt needed. the vtech monitor is so sensitive to sounds and clear that we can hear our little girl breathing which for us gives us all the reassurance we need. its especially good given that we live in a 3 storey house and the nursery is right at the top - we can always hear her. the other features we really like are the thermometer which again is so sensitive flashing whenever the room gets too hot or cold that we returned our Groegg thermometer as it wasnt needed. likewise we didnt need a nightlight as this has one inbuilt. being able to talk via the monitor is also really useful - my husband and i use it to talk to each other when one of us is in the nursery. all in all really worth the investment as it saves having to being other nursery gadgets as well as giving really clear sound. |
