The small party held at the Spears family’s gated mansion in Kentwood, Louisianna, over the weekend was for Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby shower. The 17-year-old Zoey 101 actress, who announced her pregnancy in December on the cover of a weekly magazine, is expected to give birth next month. Around 30 guests attended the ladies-only celebration, with police keeping guard as paparazzie circled around the house and also in helicopters.

And yes, Jaime Lynn’s sister was also there. The troubled star, Britney Spears, has flown back to her hometown in Louisianna for the first time in over a year to attend her teen sister’s baby shower. It’s been a while since Britney’s been home – in fact, the last time she set foot in Kentwood was way back in November of 2006.

After the shower, Jamie Lynn was driven back to her home in Mississippi with her boyfriend, and the father of her child, Casey Aldridge.
