Waste of money

| Having had 3 kids and used various monitors, i have to say this is the worst ever!! lots of constant buzzing, which makes it difficult to hear baby breathing. When used on portable mode i was changing the batteries at least twice a week. last nite i plugged it into the mains, and discovered it would not work that way unless it had batteries too!!! Im now looking for another one, and cant wait to bin this one!!! complete waste of money. |

| great range even when powered by battery, simple design but effective, not much interference and detects quite faint noises. |
Attractive and reliable monitor but not rechargeable

Monitors generally all do the same job but be aware that some recharge whilst plugged into a socket and some don't. The parent unit for this one can be unplugged and carried around but relies on batteries to do so. I'm not sure how long the batteries I have put in will last but I'm conscious of this when I'm using it away from the mains connection and would prefer one that charges whilst plugged in. One way around this is to use rechargeable batteries but that will add to the cost and is not as convenient.
With some monitors you can hear a slight buzzing, even when the child unit is in a silent room. This monitor only comes to life when there is a noise. You may find a little buzzing is reassuring or you may prefer to hear nothing unless your child stirs or cries out.
This until is more attractive than many others with a pleasing shape and contrasting colour.
I bought mine on Amazon and couldn't see it anywhere cheaper. |
