One of the most useful purchases I've made for my baby. Stores dirty nappies perfectly, you can't smell a thing and it's very hygienic. A very handy thing to have, it is easy to use it one handedly too - perfect when you have to keep the other hand on your active little one! The cassettes last quite long, in 12 weeks so far I have used up 8. So one lasts about a week and a half.
Some reviewers said it's hard to turn the nappy sealer thingy with one hand but I don't agree, it's just a piece of plastic afterall, come on.
All in all, a definite baby essential. |

We've got an 18 month old and things are getting - well, lets just say more pungent than when she was on baby food or just milk! Decided to get the Tommy Tippee based on the reviews but I'm afraid to say it has been a disappointment. The bin is just slightly larger than a waste-paper basket and the whole thing is made of really flimsy plastic. We filled it up in 3 days, but a newborn would likely take even less time. Because it's so light, the supposedly one-handed mechanism to seal the nappies requires the other hand to hold the unit to stop it spinning - however, they're really minor niggles. The main problem is the fact it simply doesn't do what it's designed to do, ie stop the bad smells. On day 2 using the thing, the smell was noticeable when you opened the lid to put in another nappy. Emptying the unit was pretty nasty on day 3.
I'm going to try the Angelcare one now and attempt to get my money back on this one (wish me luck!). Nice idea - real shame they skimped on quality. |

| This is a good buy, the bin locks unpleasant smells and is easy to use. I have been using it since my daughter was born 7 weeks ago and plan to continue. |

| This product is brilliant - with a new baby anything that makes your life easier is worth its weight in gold ... And this does. Rather than to-ing and fro-ing to the main bin or having a stinky bin in the nursery I love the fact that I can put this beside the changing table, throw in a particularly offensive nappy and then very easily dispose of it. |
