When my baby arrived, I had just an ordinary bin in his nursery for his nappies. A week later we knew we wouldn't be able to put up with the smell. So we got our self a bin & liners, & thankfully no more smells. Bit expensive tough. It would be much cheaper to buy nappy bags.

This nappy bin is certainly good. It seals all nappies securely and banishes all smells. A cassette lasts a few weeks but when you look at what you pay for the cassettes, I really wish now we'd have bought a Diaper Champ. Although these are more expensive to begin with you can use ordinary bin liners with these so it works out much cheaper in the long run. That said, these cassettes are much cheaper on Amazon than anywhere else.

The nappy bags for the nappy genie is fantastic. It really is one of the best purchases we have made when having a baby - a must have. Its really easy to use and the bags really keep all smells at bay.
