| we brought this as i was so worried all the time the baby had stopped breathing... having this just gave us a bit of piece of mind that he was breathing...as if i woke up could just look over and see the light flashing to say it had sensed movement. only fault we found was the connection got lose, so had to tape it in for the connection to work. |
Brilliant, peace of mind and not too expensive

We were bought one of these nearly 3 years ago before the birth of our first daughter. The sensor mat is compact enough to fit under the matress of a moses basket so thats where we first used it.
It stopped my wife spending endless hours staring at our daughter to check she was breathing.
However, its easy to forget its on and gives you a real shck when you lift the baby off the pad and it goes off!
Once she got too big for her moses and cot (she's now in a single bed) we use just the alarm part as it doesn't have to be attached to the sensor mat.
Baby two is due any day and again we have ubnpacked the mat and its all ready to go for number two!
I have recommended this item to several friends most of whom have bought one, its brilliant, a good price for that bit of peace of mind!!! |

| I brought this after my daughter started to stop breathing with sleep apnea,as there is a pad that goes under the mattress to detect movement and its been a god send, if she didnt bretahe for more than 15 seconds the alarm would go of and i could race up there and stimulate her, after she outgrew the pad and her bretahing was back to normal at 12 months we took the pad away and used it as normal baby monitors. |
Fabulous - one of our best buys

Love this product. Spent ages trying to decide which monitor to buy. Samuel is only 7 weeks old, so my review is a little limited.
Was tempted by some of the flashy video monitors, but so pleased we bought this one. At the moment, Samuel is still in our room, but we use the baby unit all the time. It's so reassuring to just glance over to the unit and see the green light flashing away which indicates baby's movement - we are still at the "is he still breathing stage"!
Again, with the parent unit - which we've had limited use, it's nice to see the green light flashing when all is quiet. When you can hear them crying you know they're "ok" - it's the quiet times that worry me and this monitor is so reassuring.
The box and instructions indicate that the night light is dimmerable (but I don't think it is and the night light is so dull it's useless) and that there is a temperature monitor - again I can't see any reference to this on the product. Apart from that, we're happy customers. |
