I purchased the Tomy Walkabout Classic Advance Baby monitor to use when looking after my granddaughter. It was good value for money and is very easy to set up and use. I didn't want something too complicated and didn't need video/ or visual aid.
Gives me peace of mind and does exactly what it says on the box. |

Very good and clear reception, plus this version has a night light option built in (we only use it to help find the dummy in the dark!!)
Only niggles are:
1) there is a limited time to ensure both units are syncronised (switched on)so we do this immediately even if it means running up and down the stairs.
2) on the older version (which broke) there was a volume indicator. This model has a volume control, but does not show if at volume setting 1 or 10 for example. |
Great monitor, good price

| We have used this monitor everyday for the last 4 years and it has been very reliable - only fault is when it is working off batteries as its range is not as good but otherwise its great value for money. Would recommend! |
It's like having a train go through your back garden!

| Poor product! Picks up other radio frequencies. Our receiving unit packed up after 15 months use! Stay clear |

| The monitor works fine, but the batteries need to be changed every 5 hours! Not very practical. We bought another brand and threw this one out. |
