This is really good set.
In this hot summer the temperature
degrees shown on the monitor's screen
are really useful.
Awful

Dect? No chance, wouldn't even connect. Sent it back to Amazon and bought the cheaper BT one which is brilliant.
Too Loud!!! (tested on the hard of hearing presumably?!)

Reviewer: Beeni,

Quite simply this product is too loud!

It has volume settings of 0-9, 9 being louder than our baby and 0 being silent. The problem we find is that setting 1 is still too loud to have the monitor in our room during the night. Unless our baby is the loudest nighttime grumbler in history (which ofcourse he isn't), then what exactly Tomy were thinking of when setting the volume configuration for this product escapes me. We have to leave the monitor on the landing to prevent us being woken everytime our baby has a little cough or a sniffle. Sure it wakes us up when he cries, which is what we want, but it wakes us up when the monitor is on the other side of a closed door on the lowest volume setting which is just plain stupid.

We were at friends house yesterday and used their BT monitor for his dinnertime nap, perfect. The BT volume controls actually range from quiet to loud, rather LOUD to REALLY LOUD.

Given we could talk to a man on the moon 40 years ago, I take it as given that the range and the signal should be excellent which they are. The only bit of engineering Tomy had to do was then decide on the volume settings and they seemingly bought in a panel of the hard of hearing for this task.

Get a BT monitor, we wish we had!

Brilliant monitor

We've been using this monitor for 14 months now and I love them. Good sound quality, works over a good distance. Like the light feature and vibrate, yet goes quiet enough for us to have it on all night without being disturbed by every breathe. Very impressed with the temp. guage and display - that is still really useful to us as it also keeps track of the min and max from when it was last switched on.

Only damage has come from dropping it where the front cover on the parent unit came off so pretty robust too.
